Last updated September 2026. This is a pre-launch draft pending review by Philippine counsel and appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO).
KilusNa is pseudonymous by default and private by design. Other users see your username, role badge, bio, and public content — never your email, phone number, IP address, or real-world identity. Pseudonymity is not absolute anonymity: the platform must be able to investigate abuse and comply with lawful orders, as described below.
Login is handled by KilusNaID (SSO). Verified members may post publicly or under a generated anonymous alias. Anonymous posts are not linked to your public profile, but the platform retains the minimum internal records needed for moderation and security.
We collect only what is needed for the stated purpose:
We do not collect your contacts, precise geolocation, or full device fingerprints.
Published public reports, discussions, comments, and your public profile (username, role badge, bio, public reports, follower counts) are visible to everyone and may appear in search results. Private and followers-only content, drafts, direct messages, EKYC submissions, credit scores, shadow-ban status, and moderation reports are never public.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for its purpose, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. As a starting schedule (finalized by counsel/DPO): account data while the account exists; ordinary content per moderation policy; security and audit logs for a limited period (no less than 6 months where preservation law applies); legal-hold material until the hold is released. When a retention purpose ends, data is deleted or anonymized. Legal holds suspend ordinary deletion for the specifically preserved material only.
We do not publicly disclose your identifying information. We may disclose the minimum information legally required when compelled by a valid court order or other lawful Philippine process — and only after internal legal review. We do not give agencies direct database access; disclosures use controlled, logged evidence packages. Where legally permitted, we will publish aggregate transparency reports and, where not prohibited, notify affected users.
You can edit reports within 5 minutes, delete them within 1 hour, delete your comments, and manage notification preferences in Settings. For access, correction, objection, or deletion requests under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), contact the DPO at the address below. Deletion requests are honored unless retention is required by law or a legal hold applies.
We use encrypted transport, access controls, rate limiting, audit logging, and content integrity hashes. No internet service is perfectly secure; report suspected account compromise immediately.
